Byron Township Road District
See our map for what roads are maintained by the township. You may also email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and leave us a message of where any unsafe road condition or right-of-way or sign problem is located. Thanks for your help.
One of the mandated functions of township government is to construct and maintain roads and right-of-ways belonging to the township. The Township Road District Commissioner, Ron Gibson, has served in this elected post since 1985 and has seen the amount of roadways nearly double during his service. The Road District maintains 50 miles of roads within the township boundaries which includes seventeen subdivisions. Most of the City of Byron is contained within the township (part of the City of Byron is in Marion Township) and maintains twenty-five miles of roadways within the township. Visit us often as we update our information and keep you informed of road construction within the township. See map of township roads and jurisdiction.
